10 Million Driveshafts produced in 2011
On 21th December 2011, the 10,000,000th driveshaft was produced in Shanghai GKN Driveshaft (SDS) in 2011. This marks a new record for the annual production of driveshafts and a ceremony was held in the Kangqiao plant. SDS, the market leader in CV driveshafts in China with plants in Shanghai, Changchun, Chongqing and Wuhan, is currently expanding its capacity to meet the demand of the rapidly growing Chinese auto market.
